ABE Announces Final Call For British Building Maintenance Award 2011
There is just one month left to submit entries to the building maintenance and management sector’s leading award – British Building Maintenance Award 2011. Run by the Association of Building Engineers (ABE), the Building Maintenance Award 2011 recognises excellence, achievement and innovation in building maintenance, management and estate services across Entrants to the Award span a wide range of sectors from defence establishments to housing associations to local authorities, and 2010 saw Interserve Construction Limited recognised for its work in partnership with GlaxoSmithKline on Block C at Colin Bell, President of Association of Building Engineers, commented: “The building maintenance and management industry is a huge, varied and complex area of activity, which accounts for around 50 per cent of the construction sector output. “The British Building Maintenance Award reflects the eclectic nature of the industry and the types of projects submitted for entry echo this.” The prestigious ceremony, which will take place in November, will provide applicants with the opportunity to showcase and promote their achievements to the industry and will identify and recognise outstanding projects in the field of building maintenance and management.
