The National Federation Of Builders

The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has appointed June Davis to the role of Commercial Director. The new role forms an amalgamation of the Training & Membership Services Directorate and Operations Directorate roles.

June previously held the position of Training & Membership Services Director having been appointed in early 2010 after spending the previous nine years in various positions within the NFB, all of which led to promotion. June has a proven track record and excellent knowledge of funding, project management, training and health and safety, all of which are complemented by a sound commercial footing.

Commenting on the appointment Julia Evans, NFB Chief Executive said: ‘The amalgamation of the two roles made sound business sense for the NFB and brings together two fundamental departments; training & membership services and operations.

‘June has been with the NFB for over ten years and her new role will ensure that we continue to provide a comprehensive service to all NFB members, whilst helping to identify and develop training & membership service opportunities and co-ordinate the identification, application and continuous development of best practice particularly for recruitment and retention.’

Commenting on her appointment, June Davis said: ‘I am delighted to take on the new role of Commercial Director which sees two essential departments of the NFB joining forces. Through collaborative working I look forward to further developing the training & membership service products offered to existing NFB members as well as extending the offering to future members.’
