Hunter Douglas Appoints New UK National Sales Manager

The newly created role will, for the first time, combine overall sales responsibility for the Hunter Douglas Ceilings, Façades and Sun Control divisions – all under the Hunter Douglas Projects banner. She will report directly to David Harris, general manager of Hunter Douglas Projects.

Juliette has almost 30 years experience in the construction industry, having specialised in a variety of technical sales roles for products including fire protection systems, façade systems, curtain walling and ceiling systems.

She was originally employed by Hunter Douglas throughout the 1990s as a technical sales executive and has acted as sales agent for Hunter Douglas façade and sun control products for the last five years.

Her appointment follows the departure of Andrew Lee, who has taken on the role of regional general manager for sun control and facade systems in Asia. He will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Juliette said: “I am really excited by the prospect of taking on this new role. It’s fantastic to come back and work directly for Hunter Douglas again, and I’m relishing the challenge.

“The really unique thing about Hunter Douglas products is not just the quality of manufacture and architectural innovation, but the fact that there is such a diversity of products on offer.

“I see a key aspect of my new responsibility to be ensuring architects and specifiers are made fully aware of all the great products Hunter Douglas provides, not just those elements they may have been previously familiar with.”

David Harris said: “I’m delighted that Juliette agreed to take on this important new role. We’re extremely lucky to have someone with such wide-ranging knowledge and experience, and I’m confident that she will prove a real asset to the Hunter Douglas business.”

The Hunter Douglas Window Coverings division will continue to operate its sales team independently, though it also forms part of Hunter Douglas Projects.
